Donald N. Holbrook Jr. age 65 of Lake Washington, died unexpectedly on Saturday due to complications from diabetes.

Memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2016 at Northview North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato. Burial will be in Minneopa Cemetery.

Donald N. Holbrook Jr. was born April 8, 1951 in Mankato, Minnesota to Donald and Viola (Funfsinn) Holbrook. Don graduated from Mankato High School. He worked most of his life as a bricklayer. He was also a member of the Local Bricklayer union from many years.

Don was an avid outdoorsman and especially liked hunting and fishing.

He is survived by three sons, Barry (Vicki) Dreyer of Colorado Springs, CO, Matthew Holbrook of Mankato, Jackson (fiancée, Krystal Bracken) Holbrook of Mankato; six grandchildren, Nathan, Michael, Aaliyah, Karmen, Jordan, and Jackson Jr.; significant other, Jill Janda of North Mankato; cousins.

Preceded in death by his parents.
